Product Details

Our role is to support you and your skin. Because modern living gives us many blessings, but it also throws challenges our way.

We’re talking environmental aggressors like UV rays and pollution from city living. A fast-paced lifestyle (read: poor diet and not enough sleep) can also have a stressful impact on our bodies, skin and mind.

The impact on our skin? Oxidative stress (free-radical damage), inflammation, uneven skin tone and dark pigmentation marks, premature skin aging, dullness and dehydration.

Why Is This So Good?

We use our scientific know-how to harness the potent effects of vitamin C at a 20% concentration because we are uncompromising about giving your skin outstanding results. And 20% is the optimal dose for max antioxidant protection, to enhance collagen formation, reduce uneven pigmentation, calm redness and improve skin's elasticity. This powerful dose also energizes your skin, targeting dullness, fine lines, and uneven texture.

The promise? It reduces the appearance of pigmentation and brightens uneven skin tone after 16 weeks of use.¹

Bottom line: there’s no downside, only empowered skin.

But won’t it irritate my skin?

No. It shouldn’t. We handpicked Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, a potent and stabilized form of Vitamin C for this reason. This makes our serum suitable for all skin types. Normal, oily, blemished, mature, even sensitive, skin … that means you.

Talking texture

The lightweight texture is non-greasy, smooth and silky, so the serum harmonizes quickly with your skin. It is absorbed quickly, penetrating across multiple skin layers to do its best work long term.

The instant result: supple and smooth skin with a luminous, even-toned appearance.

How to Use?

  1. Cleanser (am and pm): Wash your face with a gentle cleanser to remove makeup, dirt, and oils, preparing the skin for the next steps.
  2. Toner/Essence (am and pm): Apply a toner or essence to balance the skin's pH and prime it for serum absorption.
  3. 20% Stabilized Vitamin C Serum (am and pm): Apply our 20% Vitamin C Serum evenly across the face, avoiding the eye area and massaging gently, for brightening and anti-aging benefits.
  4. Moisturizer (am and pm): Finish with a moisturizer suited to your skin type to lock in the serum and hydrate your skin.
  5. Sunscreen (am only): Apply daily to protect your skin against UV damage.

FAQ

Can I use other serums with Vitamin C?

It is safe to use vitamin C serums with serums containing hyaluronic acid and peptides as they aren’t potentially irritating. You should avoid using it at the same time as highly active exfoliating ingredients, like fruit acids (AHAs, BHAs) and vitamin-A retinoids.

If you want to use all these ingredients together, consider using them at different times. For instance, use Vitamin C in the morning and exfoliants or retinoids in the evening.

Or use them at different times of the year (vitamin C in summer, retinoids in winter).

What is the correct way to store a Vitamin C serum?

Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight.

What result can I expect from a Vitamin C serum?

Antioxidant protection. Brighter, smoother, plumped and more even skin. Reduced redness and inflammation. Softening of fine lines.

When should I use a Vitamin C serum?

It may be used both morning and evening.

What is the difference between L-ascorbic acid and ethyl ascorbic acid?

Both are types or derivatives of vitamin C, but L-ascorbic acid is highly unstable and can degrade quickly when exposed to light, air and heat, which can make it lose its effectiveness and can also contribute to skin irritation.

Ethyl ascorbic acid is highly stable, it penetrates deeper into the skin and is released over a longer period. This makes it the ideal choice for use in skincare.

Can I use vitamin C serum if I have sensitive skin?

Yes, you can use it even if you have sensitive skin, but check the label. Make sure it contains stable ethyl ascorbic acid, rather than L-ascorbic acid. Also look for the words "for sensitive skin" or "hypoallergenic".

If your skin is very sensitive, we advise doing a patch test before you use it all over your face (as you should when introducing any new skincare product). Apply a small amount to the skin beneath your jaw or on your inner elbow, wait 24 hours and see if you have stinging or redness. If irritation, redness, burning or itching occurs, stop using it immediately.
